Table of Contents

Just as you get ready to kick your New Year’s resolutions into high gear, Coach Sharita Jennings of Get Fit Like That is giving us an early option (The 21 Day Comeback Challenge to #GETFITLIKETHAT) just in time for those looking to burn off those holiday calories.

This fitness challenge is (almost) painless, and will help you stay motivated even during the busiest of times of the new year. Because this challenge only requires a few exercises a day, you can always make time to get in even a short sweat, whether you’re traveling, working overtime, etc.

Speaking of family, the 21 Day Comeback challenge can be something you can do with the entire family. In fact, the more people you get to join you, the more likely you’ll finish the whole challenge and actually stay on top of your fitness goals in 2022.

How It Works

To get started all you’ll need is the challenge calendar that you can get here.

Then, to help you perform the daily moves, you can watch the demo videos that will teach you how to correctly perform each move.

Every day, you’ll have four moves to complete, and that’s it. Your reps will be done in ladder and pyramid sets. In week 1 for instance, you’ll do a ladder set, meaning you increase the number of repetitions with each set (like you’re climbing a ladder!)

This will consist of doing each move for 6 reps then repeating everything for 8 reps, then again for 10 reps each. Weeks 2 and 3 will be done in pyramid sets, where you’ll go up in reps and then back down. This is a great way to shake up your workouts and get some serious strength gains in.

Coach Sharita will also be showing modifications for those who are just getting back on track, and will also be showing advanced versions of the moves for those who want the extra push. If you’re worried about whether this challenge will work for your fitness level, Coach Sharita has thought of that too: there’s a Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level so that you can get what you need out of the challenge.

The goal of this challenge is to establish consistency with being active every single day and keep your

momentum going throughout the year. If you are able to complete this challenge, you’ll likely have the energy to do even more.

So you can do the moves on their own, or add them to your regularly-scheduled workouts. This way, you can get out of that holiday slump, easily shred those holiday calories and reach your fitness goals in the new year. When you miss your workouts for weeks on end, starting over can be so much harder. Really, what do you have to lose?
