Generational Health – Blueprint for Longevity
This is the premier forum for urgent health conversations on access, equity, innovation, and prevention for Black Americans. Now in its third year, the USA TODAY/BlackDoctor Summit is the premier forum for urgent health conversations on access, equity, innovation, and prevention for Black Americans. This signature event convenes the nation’s leading voices in New York City to challenge assumptions, examine what’s working — and what isn’t — and drive solutions for progress in real time. Through a series of moderated panels and fireside chats – rooted in patient needs and prevention across the leading diseases impacting Black Americans – top healthcare industry leaders and medical experts will share data, lived experience, and innovation to surface tough truths to spark candid dialogue, and clarify what meaningful progress requires. This year’s theme, “Generational Health: Blueprint for Longevity,” frames Black health as a systemic inheritance – shaped by decisions, access, trust, and narratives passed across generations — and underscores why this moment calls for collective action to drive meaningful, lasting change.
