Sexiest Workout Time With ‘Strength Of Seduction’

Strength of Seduction DVD

Everyone knows that having a daily fitness routine is essential for a healthy lifestyle. But having a consistent workout regimen can be difficult for a number of reasons. For example, not having the energy after a long day, finding time to exercise, or maybe just a lack of motivation. Well, MMFitness, a gym in Tampa, Florida, created a sexy and creative way for couples to work out together. “Strength of Seduction: The World’s Sexiest Couples Workout” encourages partners to be accountable for one another while increasing their physical and emotional connection…and likely more!

“As a fitness trainer, I’ve always seen that there was a connection between fitness and intimacy,” said Micah Morgan, owner of MMFitness and designer of the S.O.S. Program. “I wanted to come up with an original system that would help bridge that gap. So we came up with Strength of Seduction.”

The program uses elements from resistance training, calisthenics, yoga, aerobics, Kama Sutra, meditation, massage therapy and more. Since its release, couples across the country have used the S.O.S Program to make their workouts more effective or to simply put some spice back into their relationships.

“One of the biggest reasons we created Strength of Seduction was because we saw a massive underrepresentation of the Black community in the fitness industry,” explains their website. “We want to see more colorful faces and body shapes that look like ours in fitness products.”

“Since it didn’t exist, we made it ourselves. Now. we’re sharing it with you!”

S.O.S. may be on to something by advocating intimate workout partners. Researchers from Santa Clara University found that people who work out with a partner they feel comfortable with are more energetic and happier compared to those who work out alone.

A 2011 study published in Psychology of Sport and Exercise found that the exercise habits of people you know have a positive influence on your exercise habits.

Another study, from the Department of Kinesiology at Indiana University, surveyed married couples who joined health clubs together and found that

couples who worked out separately had a 43 percent dropout rate over the course of a year. Those who went to the gym together, regardless of whether they focused on the same type of exercise, had only a 6.3 percent dropout rate.

The study also found that the most successful fitness partnerships fall into one of three categories: the pal-based buddy system, the small group and the coupled pair.

Romantic partners who support each others’ goals; couples who need more quality time together and have trouble fitting it in their schedules; parents who can take advantage of childcare at the gym; anyone looking for a fun, active date.

You’re most successful at reaching your goals when the people closest to you are on board — or, better yet, an integral part of the team. Scheduling is often easier with a partner, since you can carpool to the gym. All those endorphins and pheromones work to increase your attraction, too.

I think it’s safe to say couples who work out together, stay together! Check out the trailer for “Strength of Seduction” below.
