36-year-old actor, singer and author Tyrese Gibson is by his mother’s bedside in a Los Angeles, California, hospital, where she remains on a ventilator in critical condition.
A ventilator is designed to mechanically move breathable air into and out of the lungs, to provide the mechanism of breathing for a patient who is physically unable to breathe, or breathing insufficiently. Tyrese has yet to reveal the reasons for his mother not being able to breathe on her own.
His mother, Priscilla Murray Gibson, has reportedly been on that ventilator at a hospital in the Los Angeles area for over 48 hours. Gibson posted an appeal for prayers along with a photo of him holding her hand, saying, “Praying over every breath she takes….. Our family needs you like never before….. Our beloved mother – she’s all we have… #PrayerWarriors we welcome your most sincere prayers….”
