Co-payment assistance programs are available to all patients, not simply those with a specific annual income. Even if you have a good salary, you may still be subject to a sliding scale. Ask your doctor or the pharmaceutical company. It doesn’t hurt to ask, and pharmaceutical firms usually have lots of cash on hand.

The politics of Big Pharma and who ends up paying for pharmaceuticals are just one layer deep. Who cares if it isn’t you? Use this opportunity while you have it.

You Are Strong Enough

In fact, your strength will carry you through this. What is meant is strong enough to take control of the situation, stare adversity in the face, zero in on the incredible, and then go out and experience it.

Don’t make this a battle against multiple sclerosis; that’s a war you’ll have to wage every day for the rest of your life. That’s a lot of work. You’ve got enough strength to enjoy life without worrying about your blood pressure. Avoid becoming angry. Though it may not be so apparent right now, you will eventually figure this out and come out on top.
