This workout only involves a treadmill, and with a little trial and error, Giraldo was able to develop the 12-3-30 workout routine. Two years after being created, the workout has hit TikTok and grown legs of its own.

Although the idea of this workout is fairly simple, it’s not easy. All you have to do is set the treadmill to a 12 percent incline with the speed at 3.0 and the rest is up to your legs for 30 minutes.

This particular workout finds the middle ground between being extremely difficult, but not to a point where it isn’t sustainable for a long period.

The treadmill settings for this workout force your body to push its weight to its limits, all while sustaining a speed that most are capable of doing. This workout is great for building endurance in long-distance runners. 

This workout is great for advanced athletes and even beginners. This mix of strength-building and cardio can be the start of a new weight-loss journey for many.

You don’t have to love running for the workout to be efficient for you. While using the incline you will feel your heart rate increase, which is key when attempting to lose weight.
