No longer “‘Lil”, the 6-foot, 175-pound rapper, actor and entrepreneur, Romeo Miller, is in his 30s, is a burgeoning businessman, all abs and muscle now. He’s grown up in front of our eyes as the son of hip-hop legend, Master P.  We’ve seen him on Disney and Nickelodeon television shows, box office movies and in countless music videos.  But he also has been spending a lot of time in the gym improving his physique.

But even with his good looks, it was still hard for Romeo, at first, to meet women who wanted a long-term relationship.

“I think I’m a workaholic,” admits Romeo. “I do love work and I have a big family and it’s really hard for a lot of girls to really understand that. It’s easier said than done.”

“People see my body and ask me what I do to work out,” said Miller. “I play a lot of basketball so I’m constantly dribbling and running up the court. I take a basketball with me everywhere I go!”

But even with his talent for basketball, it wasn’t until his mentor, Will Smith, helped him make the decision to get back into entertainment.

“I had put my career on hold in order to go to USC on full-ride basketball scholarship. But it was with a new coach that really didn’t like me and I had all these fans asking me when I would come back to entertainment.  So I called up Will and said ‘Yo, I need to talk to you right now.’ And Will was so cool that he said that ‘If it’s that serious, then come to the set. I’ll tell them to stop filming so we can talk.’ This was when Will was filming iRobot and he told everybody to shut down filming for a couple of hours. We talked for maybe two hours and he said, ‘God will let you know what you’re supposed to do. Whichever area that you inspire the most people, that’s where you’re supposed to be.’ And after that, the rest is history.”

Romeo also gives respect to dad for his success, in both the past and future. “I’ve seen up close and personal the many good things you’ve done for people and they’ve only highlighted what you couldn’t do for them,” Romeo posts about his dad on his Instagram. “As a kid, I told you I’ll work my ass off and anything you did for me would be a bonus. A real father sacrifices EVERYTHING for his kids, thank you for that. That’s the best gift. Respect @masterp and the best is yet to come, on ME. NoLimit.”

“My advice to entrepreneurs: as a business owner, you’ll need to manage your stock and pricing to ensure high profits and prioritize customer service even more during this pandemic. I’m the boss, but if my employees can’t get it done I’ll always make it happen. #NeverOutWorked #BlackBusinessOwner”

So now, in order to keep his 30-something-year-old body in tip-top shape for movies, television shows and music, Romeo sticks to a strict workout routine.

It is clear that Miller’s hard work in the gym and on the court has paid off as a result of being named one of the Top 25 Fittest Men in America.

According to CDC, the latest study based on a nationally representative sample of U.S. adults estimates that about 112,000 deaths are associated with obesity from poor nutrition and physical inactivity each year in the United States.

Because of these obesity stats, Romeo has committed to coaching his father Percy “Master P” Miller, through a 90-Day Challenge to lose 40 pounds. The result? P has lost 40 pounds by exercising everyday for at least an hour, practicing healthy eating habits, and taking daily vitamins and supplements by Visalus.
