We’ve all heard people say go to where you like to be to find your mate but does that really work? In some cases, yes, but if it’s not working for you here are a few more options for finding love:
Everyone has something they love doing! Whether that be local concerts, conventions, retreats, workshops or expos, there is something that genuinely interests you to be present in that space at that moment.
Take advantage of the like-mindedness that you have and make yourself available and open to bumping into someone that may spark your interest (literally).
Included in this is also volunteer groups.
People usually overlook where they volunteer because it can be seen as “for giving back,” not meeting potential partners. Also, people often focus on the task or cause, not socializing.
But don’t underestimate the power of shared values that come from these settings.
There’s nothing like an ambitious man or woman. Add a nice suit to that and you’re golden.
Go in with your professional goals in mind of course but save room for what might be a pool of potential industry-leading love interests too!

Yes, people still go to libraries. And actually, ever since COVID, people have got to libraries even more. And libraries are a hub for people that are new to the city or town you live in. So don’t knock it until you try it.
People often overlook libraries because 1uiet environments make people hesitant to approach others. And they assume that most people there want to be left alone.
Many believe “real connections” only happen at events, but they can happen with the person you see in the library that comes every other week. Do yourself a favor and at least say “hi.”
A place we all go to spend two to three hours to literally just sit and wait. If you love to travel, this is your prime location to look for love.
Everyone is literally in the middle of traveling so that automatically checks off that box.
Instead of having your head buried in your laptop or phone, pick your head up and take a look around. You never know who you may make eye contact with, sit next to, or stand behind–that may be your soulmate.
More than likely, you’ve been to that certain café you like more than twice. Check to see who frequents the café around the same time as you.
Spark up a conversation about the very place you’re in and how you two always seem to end up there around the same time. You never know who’s around you!
This one may be a bit typical to some but also taboo. If you’re related in any way to the groom or bride, proceed with caution. However, if you’re just a friend, the dating pool is wide open!

Oh, the workplace. Should you, or shouldn’t you? The honest truth is that you spend eight hours a day there, so it is sometimes inevitable.
However, don’t get me wrong, if you’re in a higher-up position or even close peers with a love interest it can get hazy if you’re both not clear on where each other stands.
You don’t want to make anyone feel intimidated or uncomfortable with your flirting or passes if they’re not interested. Make sure to keep it professional in the workplace period, but outside of work, make your intentions respectfully clear so they have the choice to either pursue it or decline it.
