Create Your Miracle Morning: A Routine That Works For You!

This is the face of someone who’s “GOT IT” and feels like “EVERYTHING IS CLICKING.”

When I first thought of entrepreneurship and adulthood, I thought “Wow! I can wake up when I want, go to sleep when I want, and now there is NO ONE to tell me what to do”. Although all those things are true and the newfound freedom is nice, I realized that I should want a morning routine.

I read The Miracle Morning For Entrepreneurs by Hal Elrod and it had a huge impact on how I go about “doing life.” I used to think that schedules were only for infants and toddlers, that only children needed structure and a routine, however, that couldn’t be further from the truth. All humans need structure for optimal productivity.

If you find that you never have enough time in the mornings, the easiest solution is to wake up earlier. Being a night owl and trying to work while exhausted is one way to get things done, but there’s something drastically different about waking up refreshed. I encourage everyone, even the night owls, to consider going to bed and waking up earlier.

My morning routine includes working out, prayer, meditation, journaling, and planning, which may

seem like a lot, but with early-rising comes a lot of possibilities.  I have several brands and events coming up, so I also take time in the morning to plan my content calendar. This includes content for my YouTube channel, webinar topics, and even my Above Average Retreat!

Early rising has helped me gain clarity and now that I have the blueprint for the remainder of the year, all I need to do is implement it.

When mapping out your mornings, don’t forget to include breakfast and break time.  Busy work does not always make the best use of your time, so remember that for those days when you find yourself overwhelmed. I’ve listed my sample routine below. If you’re having a hard time planning out your mornings, feel free to use mine as a guide.

My Morning Routine

6:00 am – Pray. Use my meditation App. Quiet Time.

6:30 am – Drink water, tea or juice. Say positive affirmations. Journal (I take this time to write my thoughts and go over new ideas).

7:00 am – GYM TIME! If not the gym then an at-home exercise.

7:30 am – Get ready for the day, eat, bathe, etc.

8:00 am – Plan out my daily schedule, edit my to-do list, pick 1-3 big tasks I will complete.

8:30 am – Read.

9:00 am – The Day Begins…

We hope this helps! Let us know what changes you plan to make to create your miracle morning!
