The PHOENYCS FLY Study will be examining the investigational drug for both safety and efficacy/effectiveness when used as an add-on treatment in adults and teens with moderate to severe SLE. If you participate in this study, you will receive either the investigational drug or a placebo, which looks like the investigational drug but has no active ingredients. You will receive study treatment through an intravenous (IV) infusion - a small tube placed in a vein within your arm - during 12 clinical visits. If enrolled in the study, you will continue to take any standard medications you are currently receiving for SLE. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the investigational drug or placebo over 48 weeks.
